Whick type of phone case is better?

A rubbery type one or a plactic type that snaps on?Whick type of phone case is better?
In my opinion the rubbery types are better. If you drop your phone it sorta bounces and it wont crack like a plastic would.Whick type of phone case is better?

the rubber would look better, but it would protect more. the plastic would prevent less damage to the phone... i have the LG VU, and i have this plastic case, and have drop it alot, and no starches or brakes
