If I buy a case for my Samsung Glyde and cover the case in bling, will it make the phone too bulky?

I wanna totally bling out my Samsung Glyde, but I heard that If the diamonds fall off, he glue will be left there. Is that true? definitely a skin or a rubber case (silicone case) they are shock absorbent and last alot longer then hard cases. leather cases are good too, but they attract too much dust.
